Welcome to the Emancipation Network
During the last 25 years we have seen a substantial increase in the number of people trapped in financial bondage. New car buyers with good credit have decreased from 70% to 30%. The housing crisis has left many people underwater in their home loans. More and more young people cannot earn enough to pay their student loans. At the same time Congress has reduced bankruptcy protection available to wage earners and students. Add a dismal employment claim, and life has become a financial prison camp for many.
We say enough is enough. It’s time to set people free and help them get back on the path to a successful life.
We believe first and foremost that faith is essential to the foundation of a successful life. Faith based on values, beliefs, and freedom which come from Jesus Christ; but faith requires action based on belief, including living up to standards of honesty, integrity, hard work, and faithfulness. Beyond this, however, faith provides the confidence and power to escape from bondage and achieve a rewarding and meaningful life.
We like to point to the life of the Great Emancipator, Abraham Lincoln, to show how to build a life for our families and achieve financial freedom. Like many of us, Lincoln suffered a financial catastrophe which left him deep in debt. History records show that after the Panic of 1837 creditors took Mr. Lincoln’s assets from him on more than one occasion. Nevertheless, Lincoln pulled himself together and increased his earning power. He became a lawyer, married, and bought a home; and after he had built his life he earned the nickname “Honest Abe” by repaying his debt several years after.
We believe that you can get free from debt and build your life just like Abraham Lincoln did.
We invite you to join with other like minded people who are being set free with the help of the Emancipation Network.
